Its a classic and as you say, quasi vintage. The only way is up with this reference - at the moment its still flying a little under the radar but I expect prices to increase. The last great 5 digit tool watch - I have the Polar and love it.

Your '93 is wearing somewhat better than mine as I'm now getting the 'spider's web' effect creeping on the dial and some of the paint from the baton numbers has worn off

It was a bit of a find, unpolished with a very tight bracelet, unfortunately a couple of crystal chips which have since been rectified by rolex. New crystal has AR coating on cyclops which greatly improved the readability. No spiderweb that I can detect.
