Because the blue is absolutely stunning and when light dances off of the Sunburst colouring it is simply spectacular. Rolex hit the jackpot on that blue. The white is beautiful too!

Few more shots from the weekend. I know technically you're not supposed to wear a watch with black tie (and if you do, it should be on a strap), but hey, I wore a vest and a straight tie so as long as I was breaking the rules...

Congratulations on the sky dweller. I was not a fan of the white dial until I saw you photos. Truly amazing, wear it in good health.

Man you have to refer me to your dealer, I need to buy couple of pieces if she is really that cooperative.

PM me if you're serious! Theybdid say they require face-to-face transactions. And you should at least "live" in the area as far as they know.

Interestingly, she (the sales rep, not the owner) said after the Sky Dweller and Daytona last year, she is refusing to agree to try to get any more special pieces because of all the difficulty she encountered --presumably the wait, the communication with the buyer, the rep, and me badgering her all the time. But she was really good-natured about it. She said it half-jokingly. I told her if she gets a reputation for acquiring difficult-to-get pieces, there are a lot of people with substantially more means than I have, and who would want to do business!

That white one is so timeless. You make me think the white one instead of my blue :) Congratulations, really happy to read when someone really has a ’click’ with the watch!

First post!

I have a deposit down on a white Sky Dweller (first Rolex), and was leaning towards changing it to a black one. Your pics, and this thread, have convinced me to stay with white. It’s elegant and clean and beautiful. Thank you for posting.

How are you enjoying it a few weeks later?

Stick with the white, it's stunning in person... Also, I concur with OP that it's killer with a black suit on... And it accompanies a nice pair of jeans just as easily. What a great watch!

Congrats!!! That’s a great dial choice, classy look. I got black and love it as well, I understand the hype around the blue but the other colors are excellent choices as well!

It's one of those watches that basically look good in every configuration (including TT which I'm usually not a fan of).
