Diver on AP catalogue
The black and silver dial are No longer to be seen on the website and app catalogues.
Only the funky colors are remaining and those are limited in production. Are we gonna see new colors being released? Or are we seeing a discontinuation of the line? Any insider information?

I don't think they will be discontinued. Perhaps some update for 2018?

Oh! That’s interesting. It’s not listed on the AP app. My guess it’s just a matter of time until they take it down on the us website.

no way they are discontinued w/o a replacement coming. has to be ceramic bezel or AP has lost their minds if they are just gone. Divers are probably the best selling ROO. By divers i mean the core divers, not the funky color variants.

its an interesting development as the diver would have been one of the only references i would have not bet on a refresh. The 42 chronographs are much more obvious candidates. Although the rubber on the crowns was the only thing i didn't like about them at a minimum that changes to ceramic if not the bezel. They cant really do a refresh with out addressing the rubber.

Interestingly the 39mm RO dual time I’ve been told has been discontinued for a while now is still listed in the current collection!

I would guess around what they are asking now. When they dropped the 44ti it was cheaper than the 44 steel. Inclusion of any ceramic might increase the price but I dont think the simple diver is headed north of 20k usd.

Maybe they will adopt that new design shown on that new RO Chrono with the new slimmer bezel?

Some others that are showing as “availability to be confirmed” include the PM ROO chronos, the platinum 44 and the safari. Not sure if that means anything just food for thought.

Uh-Oh... I do hope they didn’t discontinue it. That may turn into a pricey acquisition for a simple black dial.
I’m guessing a minor refresh? |

In any case, the divers, at least one 44mm ROO, and some 42MM ROO chronos are getting pulled so the SIHH releases appear they might be pretty comprehensive across the ROO range. Makes sense now why they announced the beast early as not to bury it with a ton of other updates. Just a guess though. |

AP will launch new colours but I really don’t think they stop produce black diver!
That watch IMO is the most iconic ROO |

This is getting interesting. And yes, a titanium diver with ceramic bezel would be at the top of my want list as well if that were to happen!
