A Hulk just sold for 9,150 euros

I followed this auction on the bay. It just sold for 9,150 euros as I write this, a whopping 4,300 euros less than Chrono24 valuation. And this is only the beginning. If I was in the market for a pre-owned Hulk I think I'd wait.

Yes it’s going down but on this listing it looks like the warranty card is missing...

I wouldn't pay half that for a Hulk on eBay without papers.

Yup. Hopefully it’ll go back to not selling at 7.5k USD. For some reason it became desirable which resulted in market increase. No idea why it became so desirable over night. Hopefully the crowd that made it desirable has moved on

I always wondered how one can bid with confidence that they are not being sold a superfake?

Wouldn’t touch ebay with a barge poll so no wonder. He got good money for the sale as far as I’m concerned

A 126710 BLNR sold here for $11,750. Well, it was listed for 11,750--who knows how much lower it went. Just a few days ago it was at 13k--this was from 15-16K!
There's definitely a downward trend

ebay will side with the buyer every time. the real risk is for the seller. these are good prices. much more so than the bogus offered prices listed on C24 or by the greys here.

Its a price bubble that will burst. A new watch will always be more valuable than a grey/used, if its waiting for a few months. The greys have bought all the stock, creating more scarcity and hence the prices. Its only discontinued vintage pieces that are more expensive with good reason. If there are 30,000 hulks made over the last 8 years? really the prices should come down.

Noticed on Bob's that they have dropped 1-2K over the past few weeks. No B&P were selling for 15K a month ago, can find them in the 13's now.

Looks like they made trade money, which is what you'd expect on ebay auction. Nothing to see here?

Sorry but w/ the super fakes out there, I wouldn't even purchase from a private seller anymore...

I would just pay the premium and purchase it from a reputable GM dealer if I couldn't be patient enough for an AD.

Had a chance to buy a 2014 BLNR for $11,275 today, but thought I should wait. Hope I did the right thing.

My insurance company will not insure any eBay purchases at all. To much risk they said

First one looks beat up, second one's colours don't look great, risky purchases so low prices.

Easy, take it to an AD for an appraisal after purchase, which you need anyway to add it to your insurance policy. $100 bucks later and you have a verification. I've heard not all AD's will do this, but I know my main two both do.

Indeed. It was basically THE buyer's remorse watch and likely record holder for the most flipped watch ever produced. It's a special green SS Submariner.. Is all I can think of. Ironic because it was probably the specialness of the green that people initially couldn't live with.

Makes sense the first to lower prices will be those sellers who can least gamble prices will come back - private sellers and micro greys on ebay and forums.

The bigger greys have been buying up hot watches for years at MSRP; they can hold out longer and still make a profit.

I’m glad more folks will get a shot a watch they love.
