Panerai LE Book: 60 Years of History

A friend of mine received a newsletter from Panerai promoting this limited edition book. I did not receive the Email, so thought I would share as it appears to be limited release (down to 270 copies remaining).

It's being promoted by Panerai, but kicks you to another site (maybe publisher) for purchase. Appears to ship from Italy. I purchased.

panerai . com / us / en / home / panerai-book-an-italian-story . html

remove the space, I'm too little to post links :-(

Kostas mentioned this book to me a few weeks back, I plan to order one. Wasn’t aware these were a LE though. $490 if I’m not mistaken.

I've had these since they came out years ago. Definitely worth the money.

Thanks for all the information. I did not realize it had been sold before.

Great breakdown and summary, jocke ! I'm excited!

I'm jealous of your discount, sinkholeninja - I paid full price ($480).

It’s been published by Lugs Edizioni S.r.l for some time now. Congrats on your purchase, it’s a must have reference for any Panerai fans interested in its real history and not some marketing fluff.

I like this book and will be buying, just wish the history went into at least 2010 for example.

I have been trying to order this book on the link provided above but it will not let me click onto PP for payment. I have tried it on my cell and computer at work.

Just received mine the mail. As noted this is not the first production run of these books, but the certificate I received with mine says it's limited with a specific number N/1500.

Sounds like these will overall be limited to just 1500 copies.

I just purchased using PP with no issues, however haven't heard anything except my PP confirmation I paid.

It’s strange, the website doesn’t allow me to click onto the PP logo and I have both boxes checked off right above it.

Thanks for sharing, way cool that the front case cover lumes the way it does.

Thanks for sharing info about the book! I also received an email from Panerai that it is available and now I am really tempted.

You can't click the PP Logo, you must click the "BUY" button off to the right. Admittedly this is a very bad user experience - lol.

Thank you for pointing that part out. It took a few attempts to click the buy tab first time I logged in and just now on my phone. It’s ordered finally.

Did you get any confirmation or shipping info from the seller. I didn’t get anything except confirmation from PP.

Another confusing user experience, so I understand your confusion.

I received a "Summary of Order" email from paneraibook dot com. It was not an order confirmation and it stated if you have already paid you will see a confirmation shortly. I never received a confirmation email. But I did receive payment confirmation via Paypal.

Four days later I received an Email from Fedex directly saying the book had been shipped with tracking number.

If you received payment confirmation from Paypal, you should be fine.

Thanks for the information, I ordered a week ago, and haven't heard anything since the initial PP confirmation, if I don't hear anything after another week I may try reaching out to the seller. Just a tiny bit frustrating.
