Its the year of the whacky dials

Lots of waves
Plenty of meteorites

Explorer remains brushed

Explorer 1 is 36mm

Lots of Diamond encrusted models

Rolex clearly listen!

I assume the older 36mm Explorer is about to drop in value? No more hype of the ‘last’ proper sized Explorer.

4k GBP ($7k USD ish) premium for the meteorite OF daytonas

Seems a lot when the WG M-GMT doesn't run that high vs other WG models

I like the move back to 36mm for the explorer. I had tried on the 39mm version a few times and never bought it because it didn't feel like the right proportions to me. I don't like the two tone version of it. I felt the same about the two tone Seadweller too.

the ghost effect of the previous black explorer II was much better, now the white hands ..... no, that's for the old black explorer II to go through the roof

Bring on the Tudor announcement I say! A Tudor 58 Coke GMT would blow away anything Rolex has announced today lol.

Looks like Rolex issued an embargo on news outlets from reporting on these new releases for 1 hour.

Interesting. They wanted to control the information at release. Don't recall this being a thing before.

We got there just in time! I predict huge rises for the 39mm now, I know the 36mm is a nod to tradition but it’s just simply too small
