Problem with date

Just got the Seamaster Diver 300M 3 months ago....
Then about 2 weeks ago, noted the the date did not change after passing midnite!!
Took it to the local Omega boutique with the warranty....
They had to send it to Seattle and it will be covered....
Has that happened to anyone else?....Just a little odd for a brand new watch!

I have not had that issue but things do happen. They will sort it out and your watch will be back and running as designed.

No. it would just stay at the same date for several days...
Some mechanical problem that I find odd for a brand new watch!

As a product engineering guy, I would rather have something break early. When things don't work right early on it is likely a manufacturing defect, or if a product is new to the market even a design defect. If it's not a common early failure then the chance of design defect goes way down the list.

When things randomly break 3, 5, 8 years out it is much harder to diagnose and therefore much harder to be sure you've actually permanently fixed it.
