My Land Cruiser carries all my dive gear including my Sub so I think the pair work out well.

It's a shame the Swiss don't have a real presence in the auto industry. The Swiss, Germans and Japanese all make excellent watches. The Germans and Japanese also make excellent cars. Full disclosure I haven't read all 6000 posts but anecdotally I haven't really noticed a country allegiance crossing product boundaries. What I mean is, I know plenty of people that are diehard "German car" or "Japanese car" disciples. But it doesn't seem that a person's preference for a Japanese car implies that they prefer Japanese watches, for example.

Little unsolicited advice on the 3 series.....my wife has had two 328d's in a row, and we have always bought new. The car she liked after the VW diesel scandal was $50k. Well, we found a lease return with 30k miles for $30K out the door. We ran that to 96k miles and found another lease return at BMW of Beverly Hills, with 4 thousand miles on it, yes, only 4k miles for $26K. Her newest car is amazing, clean, and basically a new car at half the price.

My watches are kind of diverse...and so are my cars.

2021 Tesla
2020 BMW
2020 Fiat Spider
2019 Jeep Wrangler

The hard part is deciding which watch to wear.

One car is a balance and our other isn't. Primarily because I'd rather buy watches that I know will retain value versus a new car that will continue to depreciate every year.

2013 Lexus ES 350. Bought it new with 10 miles on it. It now has somewhere around 25,000 miles. Yes, 25,000. I don't drive much!

I have more cars and motorized toys than I know what to do with. Wish I had the same problem with watches.

With the pandemic, my desire for cars has pretty much disappeared. I now have only three watches (one Explorer II) and run/cycle/workout/yoga every day. Driving is a distant memory...

Interesting. Mine only grew. Bought the Spider just for that reason to get out and about zipping around in a go-cart. The Jeep was in the mountains more than ever...ya know "work from home" and all.

What is this Yoga thing you speak of?
