Rolex service options

Hello,
Have a 14060m that is due for service. 10 yrs old. Checked local (Nashville) AD. Told turnaround is about 3 months. Would like to have a Rolex service, but hate to be without so long. Any suggestions for service?
Thanks!

I just got my M back from service at RSC Australia - 3 months as well.

I'd suggest you buy another watch to wear in the interim :D

Call RSC and inquire directly, think service time is around 6-8 weeks. The extra time likely due to AD shipping / receiving / payment logistics, you can send it yourself.

Did you take it direct to the RSC or via an AD.

How about service from real CW21 watchmakers - both are renown vintage experts:

Bob Ridley, Dallas, TX
https://watchmakers.com/contact-us/
817-276-1400

or his son

Phillip Ridley, Mesa, Arizona
phillip@ridleywatchmakers.com
817-821-2118

They are both Rolex Vintage experts and will be glad to speak to you in great detail about your vintage (or other) Rolex needs

I'm not certain this will suit
But seriously, both may be great options as I hear their turnaround times are shorter

There is nothing critical about a 10 year service. Any good CW-21 watchmaker can do the job; Rolex movements are not alien to most of them. There are many watchmakers on AD staff who have parts accounts and will turn-around in a few weeks or less, give them a call.

Naturally, if you want the RSC bells and whistles, you need to jump into line.

I had Phillip Ridley service my Daytona in May. I had it back in less than 30 days. It was a seamless process shipping and dealing with Phillip.

RSC Dallas is great, that's what I'd do.

Also...

I'd use this as an excuse to get another timepiece because... well, any excuse to get another timepiece works

RSC in Dallas does really nice work. Contact them directly to ask for a time estimate.

I live near him and did the 'drive-it-over' thing. He had my year 2000 16613 back to me in record time. It was 8 days from estimate to billing.

Because of that convenience, I would not need to do an RSC unless it was some sort of a serious warranty issue.

I also second going with a vintage watchmaker. Check their credentials and feedback for working on Rolex.
