Las Vegas Rolex?

I’m heading to the Las Vegas Strip next month and am curious which Rolex stores are good to visit? I know there’s no chance to find what I’m looking for.

Tesorini at Bellagio has been better than the Wynn recently. I find the Wynn salespeople very unhelpful.

Also check out Tourneau at Caesar's Forum Shops, and the smaller boutique there as well.

There is a new AD under construction at Crystals (City Center) but I'm not sure when it will be open.

I’d have to agree. The boutique in the Wynn has gone downhill since they were acquired by WoS. Alternatively, Tourneau has always been very friendly, contrary to the rest of the Turdneau stories in here.

I’d check out the few shops in the Venetian even though they aren’t Rolex, as well.

I live in Vegas and agree 100% with both of these.

Stay away from the Wynn, not a great store. See if there is AD off the strip.

Do they take trade-ins at these shops?

Was just there. Don’t waste your time. Rent a sports car and go to Valley of Fire. Much more enjoyable.

The little Rolex boutique at Caesar's (not the one attached to Tourneau, but probably still run by Tourneau?) definitely does. They pitch a trade-in to me every time I go in there wearing a Rolex.

Las Vegas Rolex?

Trade-ins are in the lower value range you might realize by selling your Rolex privately - either here or elsewhere.

To preserve their margins at an AD, they will give you a trade value of between -38% to -50% of Pre-owned retail price.

Or give you what seems like an amazing trade-in value, while NOT giving you the discount you could otherwise have got on the new piece.

But, of course the trade-in route is never going to save you the most money --the store has to make a profit too, after all. It's great if you just want it done quickly and effortlessly, though.

(Which I'd never do personally -- I'm far too cheap)

Wynn salesperson, the old guy with the blonde hair and glasses is a top-plonker.

I see. I've never personally sold any high ticket items and probably hate going through all the motions.

There’s a nice ad called thunderbird jewelers off the strip.

100% agree. Wouldn’t expect anything in terms of SS Professional. You’ll see the same references you’d see at your hometown AD. I’ve been there a dozen times this year alone, and gave up “popping in” by the 6th visit.

Best of luck at the tables though!

So don’t bother “getting lucky” and finding an SS model?

That's EXACTLY what I did on my birthday last year, in a red Ferrari! You forget about ADs, watches, and whole lot of other things when wind blasts in your face at triple digits, I even forgot (didn't realize?) the radio wasn't working, had to settle for screaming V8 behind my ear.

Awesome experience, and drop dead gorgeous scenery especially in a top down Italia. Stopped at a great breakfast spot in a small village along the way forgot the name.

I'll be there tomorrow, maybe I'll lose my mind and go to Red Rock this time in a Lambo. Sure beats BSing around at ADs with empty display cases.
