Vanguard Strap on BB58

Quick back story.

Last week I put a rubber b strap on my Sub, and wanted to do something similar to my BB58. I ordered the vanguard strap, and within 15 minutes I changed my mind and said I will go with Rubber B on the BB58 as well.

I contacted Vanguard by email, got a quick email saying it was canceled.

I ordered the green rubber b strap for the BB58. Strap came in next day since I am in FL. I was not in love with the green after seeing it in person. I returned it..

So fast fwd to today. The Vanguard strap shows up by DHL and I am like WTF. I double checked my credit card and I was already refunded.

Contacted Vanguard to let them know their mistake, I open it to inspect the strap and feel in love. Very well built, and came with the spring bars too. As a bonus the clasp from the leather strap works well with this too. Vanguard sent me a invoice and he gave a good discount for the honesty.

Pics below. I have had the watch on all day, and love it. I will also add pics of the Rubber B green one. Enjoy.

Looks great, I might get one of these. How easy is it to remove and fit the clasp from the leather Tudor strap? I had a quick look earlier but couldn’t work it out.

Congrats, I have the Vanguard on my BB58. It is top quality and they have first class customer service and delivery. Glad that was the case here and enjoy your lovely strap

Vanguard make bespoke straps for the Submariner (all versions apparently) and the 39mm Explorer....

Vanguard only make short version of Tudor BB58. My intention is to buy this short strap for my Rolex Explorer 39mm :) Has anyone tried it before?

Great to know. If my new rubber b doesn’t start to break in and feel comfortable it’s getting tossed in the bin, haha. Looks like great quality and comfy. Just doesn’t look as nice as the rubber b…
