Has anyone got a ceramic daytona and current explorer ii, cause from what i can see online is i compared the steel bezel vs the ceramic. From the video rolex released, the edge profile looks like its a ceramic bezel. Maybe someone can take a photo of the 2 side by side of the side profiles? With the technology these days, I wouldn’t be surprised if rolex creates a ceramic bezel that looks like steel. But I’m pretty confident it will be a ceramic or something upgraded from the steel.

If you lighten the picture it looks ceramic. I have a picture but can’t attach it from my phone.

dont think its ceramic, a ceramic bezel is prone to crack and thus not suitable for exploration purpose.

Haven’t worn my explorer II in a few years. Hoping that this will be a ceramic bezel, and will make the older model more valuable and I can trade into a sub with some cash left over.

That would be a real disappointment if they went with PCL's, but I agree, it sure looks like it.

Wonder if it’s possibly a green or blue bezel.

I would rather see that vs black and white.

I’d say a ceramic bezel would be a swing and a miss. It’s not a fundamental design element. Now, filled numerals on the bezel with some sort of high-end material would be interesting.

I bet green - I have been saying that for like 6 months. Not in the market for it, but would like to see it.

/\

Steel bezel with lume filled numerals would be more of an evolution of the current model, without affecting the base design character of the watch.

Ha! I mean we all know that these things are grossly overpriced jewelry at this point, so what’s the difference!?
