Blue dial YM. Can still get pre-owned below msrp, but not for long.

Blue dial YM is my vote too. It's top 3 the nicest looking Rolex but with no buzz.

116509; best blue dial of Rolex and just slightly over retail.

100% agree. I’ve always liked this model. With the craziness over blue dials and the Daytona shortage, I cannot understand why this one isn’t more popular. Especially since the SS Daytona sells on the grey for $36k.

easiest question ever its the Bi metal Dayton's as the price is way lower than steel by 50% in some cases ! never mind the full gold !
Bi metals look a bargain id say
so thats my take on the most underrated

RG Yachtmaster 126655. The polished numerals on matte ceramic bezel, matte dual, red text, everose, and oysterflex with glidelock make it an absolute perfect watch with unbelievable depth. The PM weight and pop is there, but still under the radar to those not in the know.

Since then Rolex have faffed around with 43mm, 44mm, 40mm and 41mm... and they nailed it already in 2014 with the 2 year production perfect dive watch ref: 116600
Agree on this. It is very unusual to randomly see it on someone’s wrist (other than mine)

TT Daytona

Ironic considering the Daytona is the most hyped Rolex model. But within that model range, the TT gets no hype whatsoever. % wise barely above retail on grey compared to all other sport models.

116519 , add rubber B strap and it is cheaper / better than 116519ln and has cooler dial options

When you say underrated, do you mean least hyped? If so, then its celini. If it’s the least hyped SS sports, that’d be the airking followed by the exp 1.

For me I want to say the 116710LN since it's often overshadowed by the BLNR and BLRO. I have to fact check myself, but I'm almost positive it was the first stainless watch to sport the ceramic bezel, the black insert is nice and understated and the little bit of color from the green dial text and green 24hr hand adds that little extra something that the all black sub lacks.
Well i bought mine 2yrs ago naked for $5,900

Couldn’t agree more...prices are definitely on the rise but not sure if that’s from the run-up before the April announcements, or if this one is going to close the gap on the YG green.

IMO, this one is a stunner and I’d pick it over the YG every single day of the week.

I have a feeling we use the expression "underrated " very differently. Are you saying those watches are inpopular and undesireable...or secretly awsome and people don't recognize it?

My original ladies’ SS/platinum Yachtmaster was so under the radar that it got discontinued. Of course the original platinum dial is not made any more, either. In the 20 years I’ve had my watch I’ve seen only one person wear the then-35 mm version and the 40 mm version. The Sub is so iconic, and the GMTs get a lot of love, that the YM professional line is, I think, underrated.

I also agree on the TT Daytona. A few years ago while visiting the Rolex store at the Wynn in Vegas, where I was never able to see any Subs or GMTs, let alone Daytonas, they had a single TT Daytona (white face). I even got to try it on (but passed). I think that was the only Daytona I’ve ever seen in person for sale, whether new or used. The SA said that it wasn’t a huge seller compared to the rest.

The TT black dial Submariner is, I think, also underrated. The SS is iconic and famous, and the “Bluesy” gets a lot of love (which it should, as it’s gorgeous). The black dial model doesn’t get as much love. My husband has one (16613) and he even favors the 16710 as his daily wearer. He found the gold more prone to scratching on everyday use, so the TT Sub is in the safe for “special occasions.” It was a gift from his father (so no choice on the style), and even at the time we both thought “Too bad it’s not the blue face Sub.”

Well, that's my point. For a while they were very underappreciated compared to the other sport watches. I mean I paid $4500 for the 3186 version with box/papers.

I think the SD43 is an under appreciated watch by a lot of people.
