Gawd dayum, really looking good on those photos there.
Could pull it off as a all black watch.

The Taupe one!
Oh i guess the Taupe is more popular so it's harder to get, but I hope you get the call soon!

Thanks! The 43ROO is really worth the premium over the 44ROO! So many refinements. Hope you get yours soon too!

Neil it’s different to the 44 dial as each tapisserie square has noticeable vertical brush marks.

Yeah I see those grooves, but I was just checking if the dial was now gloss and I think it is the same matte, on the pic above with the light right on the dial the grooves even disappear.

I kept looking at it on Sunday night and was thinking "am I drunk?" or "is that what AP think is an acceptable lume?"

Even on my new 42mm ROO, the lume is terribly disappointing. I was hoping it would shine bright.

I think both Omega and Panerai (all of mine certainly do) have the very best lumes out there.....AP not so I fear.

Well you know, they probably just ran out of money to put on the extra lume, very expensive these days with supply chain interruptions...I am of course joking.

However, I do think the look of the watch would be detracted with lume here instead of the black hour markers. Matches better with the bezel design wise IMHO. I do agree with you it's a bit of a downer when needing to read the time at night. But luckily I use the inefficient solution of using my phone to turn on the flashlight to read the time. Lol.

Speaking about lume... AP isn't well known for their lume but it's still quite decent. Pics taken about 30mins of difference.

But of course black lume isn't gonna be good at all, regardless of which brand it came from.

Big congrats! Tried it today in Athens store and it looks great, great sports watch. Comparing it with my 44mm it does appear more compact, pity didnt have it to try side by side.

Would be absolute killer if they have managed with in house movement to decrease thickness as well.

Incoming 43mm steel roo!

I just had a viewing session with the boutique today, letting me handle the ROOC 26420 in blue Ti and the steel Taupe dial - shop display models, not for sale.

Can’t believe how big they are! Have never really tried any ROO before, so I was really surprised by the thickness. The Ti is much lighter than the steel. Asked the dealer to verify if the Ti is high grade or not, he didn’t know. It isn’t so noticeably gray and dull though.

The strap interchange system is wonderful though, very well executed.

Had the option to pick up the black dial in steel/ceramic, but walked away. He put my name down for a 15202 and 15500 blue dial anyway.

15202 will be discontinued this year, to be replaced by something else…get ‘em while you can!

Yeah it's big but actually has a smaller lug-lug than the 42mm diver. I believe AP uses grade 5 titanium, which is one of the most common titanium grade used for watches.
