Incoming (sort of)
Just picked up an OEM rubber strap for my SMPc. Pleased so far, looks a lot more summer ready and is pretty comfy.
Looking forward to test driving it and seeing what’s what compared with the bracelet (ok comfort wise but as we all know could do with some taper and a slightly smaller clasp.) Blue is a different hue from the dial and bezel but it does show off the lyre (?) lugs pretty well. Great watch and as my chances of getting a sub lv or gmt master from my Rolex AD are asymptotic to zero this will have to do for the time being. Interestingly as an aside when I got this watch august 2020 it was consistently Plus 0.5-1.5 seconds per day but now it’s settled it is minus two. If anyone has an idea which resting position to try to even it out if I’d love to hear - hate slow running. Cheers all and have a good weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks great on the rubber! And I agree, straps make the beautiful lyre lugs really stand out. Enjoy!

I just purchase a rubber strap from the omega store with the deployment claps and definitely way better in my opinion. I actually was pleasantly surprise because I though (don’t know why) they sold those only for the AT models, anyways enjoy !!

Looks great. I have always been a bracelet fan but Omega does the rubber straps so well. Enjoy.

Exact same experience with my white dial SMP.
Bought it on the bracelet but added the rubber which completely changed the watch. It’s my daily do everything now. Also was bang on time for the first 4 weeks, then settled in to -2sec/day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
