It’s never going anywhere, but doesn’t get much wrist time anymore… which every time I put it on I can’t understand. I must be a victim of the hype I guess. I just love a date function, and when I don’t have one these days I notice it.

I'm pretty sure one of my friends stole my stopwatch from my house when I was 10 or 11.
Haven't used or needed one since in 50 years!

I times my wife's contractions on my speedmaster when both my children were being born.

There's other cooking things as well, I do find it very useful.

This,

I realise there are times a stop watch would be useful, but I never used the function on either of the Daytonas I owned, but I did notice, that I both didn’t know the date, and also needed to look twice to see the time!

I realise it’s a beautiful watch, but just not for me…

I really don't understand the popularity of the Daytona. The dial is to small, too much text and the sub dials are messy. The speedy is just a much better watch, with more coolness at a fraction of the price.

Wouldn't wear my speedy as a daily because of the lack of date as you say, but perfect evening watch.

Very nice collection..you don't need a Daytona especially if you don't care for them. We're on the same boat with the Daytonas, way too much going on that dial. Shoot, you have to really focus just to see the time..

I had a tokyo 2020 speedy panda (black and white dial). Bought as an investment, whilst I made good money I should have kept it. I never even wore it, and whilst I had the 116500 Daytona “panda” at the time and I’m a Rolex guy through and through, there was something special about that watch. It just looked so crisp and elegant, really beautiful and more of a instrument than the Daytona.

I genuinely wish I’d not sold it after importing it from Japan, but I used the money to trade up the the YachtMaster which is now my favourite daily… unfortunately you can’t keep them all….

Great looking watch, and I'll always be an advocate of having a speedy as part of a collection but if we were all the same the world would be boring.

Aside from the moonwatch the ultraman version is my favourite but I do like that Tokyo one.

The YM is a great looking watch though so you've not done bad!

Very nice collection you've ended up with. You have obviously had experience with models in the past. Glad to see the unsung hero Milgauss made the cut, my personal favorite. It's nice to sit back and enjoy your collection now that you are satisfied and done as you say.. Enjoy!!...

listen it’s your collection and you have a nice collection of Rolex watches. However, they are are sport watches and all of one brand and style despite the metal used. I have always valued diversity in a collection and representation from seiko, GS, JlC, breitling, doxa, omega, make for a good watch collection. However it is a diverse Rolex collection and enjoy and wear in good health.

I would never sell or trade any of them. You might regret the loss of any in the future. Really cool collection…

I'm pretty sure the day date isn't a sports watch and it would be difficult for the Mig and YM to be any more different apart from the brand name on the dial!

For some it's nice to have diversity of brands. For others not so much.

Congrats, very nice. Surprised to see no GMT ?
Think the CHNR would fit in nicely

Yes, the day date is a sport watch and the case designed to be along with the crown. The metal does not dictate the design.

Had an AP and Omega in the past, just don’t get the same feeling from them. Back to Rolex seems to always be the way for me.
