It looks amazing of course that bracelet is much nicer but this is what eliminates me buying a yacht master 42

I have the same watch and I prefer the original bracelet.

However, I have to say it looks pretty good on that rubber strap.

Do you have both bands or just the oysterflex?

If I was going to wear a rubber strap it would be a Rolex OEM strap.

Bought a rubberb for my black SkyD, lasted about 2 days.

Could’ve sold you mine lol

Oyster and only oyster for me. No rubber, no jubilee, just oyster

The fact rubber b (and oysterflex) looks grey rather than black, at least to my eye, is a non starter for me on any watch.

Given that you actually asked for an opinion, here it is.
YUCK!
Do not do!
A Solid NO!
Why?
Put it back where it belongs!

I think that is enough for now, now take it home, put it back on the band it should be on and stop traumatizing it.

I actually like it. If I was getting a Sky today, I would lean toward the OF configuration.

Why? Well, let's think about it. You know the stuff on TRF that a lot of people post about, like, say, scratches and getting their watch to fit? (Not taking into account, of course, the whining about AD's.)

The OF solves both and also delivers a third benefit: tones down the bling inherent to the watch so that it can blends in more (IMO, of course) in all sorts of settings.

Just my opinions, of course. And, I'm certainly not saying I would turn down a steel @ retail, or even a full gold model, either, if the price was right.

I wish Rolex would give us the option to install the OF on the Skydweller SS.

Fugly! Waste of wonderful watch! Don’t even think of that. Even Oysterflex is out of proportion and misplaced with SkyD.
