Latest purchase - Milgauss white dial

Not for me though but as gift for my daughter. I already a white dial and she likes it a lot. Plan to give her on her high school graduation, in a few years. Price of the white dial has been steadily rising, though not yet notoriously as the Z-blue.

It being a sleeper is exactly why I like it. Ive got a TT SkyDweller which is a little on the flashy side. When I want to wear something a bit more understated, out comes my white dial milgauss.

Milgauss is also my most comfortable rolex to wear. Something about how high it sits off the wrist just makes it super comfortable even though its a really heavy watch.

Beautiful, I’ve been wanting and looking for this exact reference for a few months.
I have one arriving in a few days, I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Congrats! I bought a NOS white dial with an unwritten card. I wanted to pass on to my daughter at some point and thought it was nice to write her name on it.

It is very comfortable and I agree how it sits on the wrist. I have been wearing it a lot this week.

Funnily, I also have a two tone black skydweller which I also find flashy. Especially for work. I have been thinking of selling it but every time I look at it the watch the jumps out.

Really nice! I hadn´t seen many photos of the white dial Milgauss, but the more I look at your photos the more I like it! I'm sure your daughter will love it...lucky girl! (By the way, I'm so glad Rolex didn't ruin the dial by adding a date window...!)

Uh, congratulations are a bit premature, per the OP she isn’t due to graduate from high school for a few more years. And not to diminish the achievement, one that countless millions accomplish every year, but a Rolex??

“Not to diminish the achievement” followed by diminishing the achievement....

Agree she hasn’t achieved it yet but isn’t the appropriateness of level of the gift for the achievement up to the giver? Seems like an unnecessarily negative comment...

Okay.

I am optimistic that the OP’s daughter will graduate high school (as you mention millions achieve it yearly). It may seem like a trivial achievement to an older adult but to a teenager, graduating high school is a significant achievement.

It’s not really my place or anyone else but the OP to determine the appropriateness of the gift to his daughter, be it a Rolex or otherwise...

Outstanding. The white dial is spectacular and works so well with aftermarket straps.
