New GS Incoming - SBGH267

Just got this LE 20th anniversary Grand Seiko SBGH267 Hi beat, with an amazing dial.

There is the typical Zaratzu finishing on the highly polished case. This watch was sold out everywhere and I was lucky to find one at the airport.

Have a great weekend

Congratulations Ben. I liked everything about it except maybe their choice to highly polish the seconds hand. If it was matte like the GS logo I would have kept it. Weird critique I know but I’m a fickle weirdo.

A beauty! Congrats! Am thinking of the same currently. Would love an expanded post on thoughts after some time wearing to help cement a decision :)

Thanks all. Having own the watch for a few days, I can say the watch is super comfortable, esp on bracelet and also very accurate, loosing only 2-3 seconds a day vs an atomic clock. The dial is just crazy amazing. I will go as far to say it's my top 3 watches with the nicest dial.

Some more pics to share :

Resizing the bracelet can be a bit of a pig. There are two tiny screws, one each side of the links. You need to remove these, then push out a pin, using a needle or the pin end of a springbar tool. Don't drop the screws, they are tiny and easily lost.

I know. I was offered that one as well. But there are many details missing in that watch. Its a much simpler finish especially the bracelet. Plus the blue is much nicer in my eyes than the brown.
