Well I cleaned my sensor and got my favourite lens back from repair. Although there were not many birds around due to the intense heat, these hardy guys made an appearance.

Young Kentish plover

Young Kentish plover and his mum

Hi Uncle,

Great pix.

I have a pair of spur winged plovers who nest at my factory every year. There are 4 eggs this year. I must try for some pix.

We get those down the west coast but I've never seen them on this side. Don't get too close to the nest or they may abandon it.
