I was going to say the same thing.

The only thing that really caught my eye is what seems to be a rather large and easily photographed laser etched crown on the crystal.

The crown in the rehaut at 12 is also off center, but that happens, so not a true sign of a fake.

I don't know how many deviations Rolex makes in dials, but a logo is something that usually shouldn't change, at least within the same era.

For example, the crown in the logo on the dial does not look right to me.
Neither does the kerning below, but i could see deviations there.

This is just a simple observation and in no means am i saying something is fake or not

Is my 116010LN real?

Id have to say this watch probably is either a super Franken or has had the glass replaced with a aftermarket crystal. The LEC is very prominent in a few pictures and a gen one it’s very hard to see the LEC like you see here in the picture.

I’d also like to point out this could have a gen set of hands, gen crown and gen bezel assembly and gen bezel insert and aftermarket crystal. Without seeing the movement it’s very hard to tell.

OP
You have received a lot of opinions.
Take the watch to an AD, have them remove the casebook and look at the movement.

Thank you all for y'all awesome opinions. I guess it's becoming harder and harder to distinguish the fakes just from the pictures. If I have time this afternoon, I might take to dallas rsc if they would remove a link. If it is a real, I'm assuming they would do it for free :)

If i remember correctly, I remember seeing some posts that Dallas RSC used to authenticate watches for fee of $150. Does anybody know if they still authenticate ?

Yes it is. From photos and varied opinions, only a proper movement photo will confirm it.
Most AD's will check it for free.

I hope my suspicions are incorrect.

They sell the Subs for around $4500 and sell the Datejusts for close to what they have in it - although the Datejust now has the fake movement.

Also happening with GMTs too.

Be careful out there everyone, be very careful. Especially you bargain basement shoppers - which are plenty these days.

If that watch is fake so is mine. I can't pic out anything different then mine. I always look at the ceramic PVD first. Looks spot on. Some of the best fakes I've seen don't do ceramic bezel like rolex. JMO. I could be wrong.

If that watch is a fake, God help us all. I will never buy outside of AD ever again if that ends up being the case.

I really cannot see a single thing that would concern me.

I'm going to say that it's real. It's too good.

Unfortunately this is the only picture I have on my phone and I can't really see anything different. Even my rehaut is slightly off center.

You also also catch the etched crown and I think the OP just manged to get the right angle. I've included a crop of my picture and I was not trying to capture it, but you can tell it's there.

These pictures from from a sub purchased at an AD.

The crown off centre on the rehault and the laser etching looks at an angle. Might just be how pictures were taken. As others have said, if that’s a fake Rolex need to think about some new features.

+1

Date wheel font is accurate and centered. Fakes are not that good yet. But only an AD can give you a final answer OP.

Many things look OK but one clue can’t be determined from OP’s dial pics because of the hour hand blocking some areas. Maybe a good pic with the hands set at 10:10 would help.
But this is becoming a futile exercise for the OP & I see a trip to the RSC in his future no matter what is said here.

Just be smart and try calling the AD on the card. Ask if the watch with Number... so and so was purchased on such date by (Name on the card). He should be able to give you this information. It's not a 100% guarantee but if it matches it's a good sign.

There are TONS of variations of the SubC dial...that is well known.

So, I stopped by Dallas RSC to remove one link and to ask its authentication. I needed it for insurance purpose as well. They said that as long as watch is under warranty, authentication is free. $150 for out of warranty.

It will take 1-2 weeks to come back. I will update once i hear from them.

Thank you all and have a wonderful weekend!!

All this and no mention of where you got the watch. Is that the source of you being unsure if the watch was authentic? Is it real threads should be banned.
