I’m not sure it is?

It’s always floated between 9 and 10.5k

Don't know why you find it surprising it's long sold out and is a 50th anniv of the first moon landing
Also not sure where you are looking but appears to have held prices I saw at £11k

Don’t believe watchfinder prices as representative of the market. You could get a grand off that if you asked nicely. Privately they are selling for £9k or so.

If there are any left, the price will have increased and as you say the same as the snoopy at £8.25k

I’ve said this before but when they release the new speedy at the thick end of £6k just over £7k for the Apollo may seem like it was a bargain. Certainly given the inclusion of a great bracelet, step dial, precious metal etc.

They are representative of the grey price which is what secondary is based on. A private sale is whatever you want it to be.

There are plenty of greys cheaper than WF and in general always are. Try looking on chrono 24.

And per my first point, you’d get a grand off that if you ask nicely/ are a repeat customer.

That’s the ask - not where they are necessarily selling. Mark worthington has a 2020 watch at £9,370
