Is this AP ROO Bracelet Genuine AP???

I've just received a brand new AP ROO bracelet. I paid good money for it from a seller based in Malta.

On first inspection I have my suspicions but I wonder if the experts can confirm it is 100% genuine Audemars Piguet as I know there are cheap fakes about.

Thankyou.

Gary, looks to be genuine. But the only way to tell is to have it fitted on to the watch. Non genuine parts won't fit the watch seamlessly. So let us know how it goes. All the best.

That bracelet looks to me poor and cheap, and my opinion is it is not genuine.
Finish on metal is not the same at all places, edges are not "the same" cutted and the fit is not good as AP should have to be.
I hope I'm wrong for your luck but my bracelet has no such differences...

I am inclined to agree with you hence me posting for opinions. I bought on eBay through PayPal so I'm fully protected but looking at the sellers other items, everything is high end watch related and appears to be genuine. Maybe the seller himself has been scammed and doesn't realise it?

Gary, I'm not 100% sure but if that is finish from AP and they are satisfied with, something went wrong with them..
I'm knifemaker and every day I'm work with metals and I can tell you for sure that is amateur work and it is not from AP.
But if it does (never know) , something serious goes wrong with AP :(

Sorry Gary but my bracelet is not for sale..
She was perfect and unworn when I bough her 2 months ago. I paid 1400$ at watch show from dealer..

It looks authentic but the polished beveled edges on the links have been almost completely "polished" out, from I am assuming over-polishing. If you look at my recently-purchased-new ss ROO bracelet, the beveled edges have good width to them.

I don't like the AP print on the clasp area, that doesnt look right in the first one, the second one looks exactly right...

That is the first thing my eye was drawn too, just doesn't look right. If it were me I would return it for a refund

Thanks everyone, as I thought it is fake.

Fortunately I've sent it back to the seller and provided him proof of delivery and he has already refunded me in full. The guy is very upset that he has been 'duped' as it came off a genuine AP ROO.

I'm still on the lookout for a genuine AP ROO bracelet so if anyone has a new or mint condition for around £1000 please let me know ASAP.

Kind regards, Gary

How easy is it to remove a DLC Rose gold coating from an AP strap?

As you experienced ... cheap is expensive! Bite the bullet and get a new bracelet from AP. It will be a little more but worth it.

After careful consideration I agree...not from AP but I'm reaching out to Sam (911CAB) on TRF to sort buying his pictures above.

Thanks for everyone's contribution.

If it's plated, it ain't genuine!
These "replica" bracelets, which genuine owners use to keep their real one pristine, are under $200 — but it's not good form for such owners to sell the watch on them, only to profit from selling the genuine one separately.

I had a diver with the bracelet. This jumped at me immediately as a fake. Just doesn't have the precision of the OEM. If it's any help, I sourced mine from DavidSW when I bought my diver. Got a great deal and it was brand new in the plastic as well. Give him a try.
