2017 GTG's

Dear virtual family:

First of all, Happy New Year; my best wishes to everyone!

Now, as some of you have read, I will do my best to bring more GTG's during '17; however, I need some input from my fellow WIS...would you mind choosing one option from the poll keeping in mind that Vegas is now a confirmed, YEARLY event. The following poll is to bring GTG's closer to you (ie Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta, Miami/FLL, Chicago, NY/NJ.....etc), with attendance of 10-20 people max.

Gracias in advance!

Voted...Once a year, ok with NRD

Twice a year, ok with NRD... would be good too if it worked out with my schedule. San Fran/Napa would be fun.

Any of those options would be ok. We already have a pretty nice GTG in Philly about every two months that's open to all. It would be nice to have a smaller, formal gathering or two for those that can't attend Vegas. Maybe Miami and Chicago?

Hello Chad. There are a number of GTGs where TRFers have dinner together and talk watches, my purpose is to bring A GTG (capital letters) to different cities. People that have trusted me know what I am talking about (more on the Hoston and El Paso GTGs as examples), which are tailored for a smaller number of attendees over a day. Vegas will still be the main event, yearly (unless group decides to add a second one!) over a full weekend.

Ah, ok. You're talking about a smaller version of Vegas with AD's, Rolex reps, etc. being involved. I misunderstood.

I'm easy, once or twice, deposit or not, depends on location and schedules.

I've to to Los Angeles GTG when Steve (LOL-x) visited. It was fun. I think Los Angeles fellows get together for lunch from time to time. It would be nice to do it more often. Right Markk?👍

It's less about location than timing for me. Can't swing the Las Vegas event due to work travel commitments.

But I would be flying to any GTG, so the more GTG's scheduled, the more likely I can attend one of them. So voted for 2 per year, with NFD.

Miami would of course be great for me. 1 a year is probably more realistic. I don't mind a NRD.

Thanks G for taking the time to organize and think about bringing us all closer!

You should do NRD most of the time Gerardo, especially if it's a group of 10 or more. Less then that shouldn't be a big deal at most places. And if it is you'll know by just a phone call to the event Location any ways.

Agree, Chicago would be fun. Maybe in January in any event there's some great restaurants there.

I'd throw in a vote for Atlanta, since there doesn't seem to be too much going on in the Southeast.
