Only managed to tired on the 5876/1G. That was a monster on my wrist!

HAGWE!! Cheers!

funny
non limited version before the 40th were made less than 50 and discontinuous,
the 40th were made at 700 and it's the limited edition
only Patek can do that without being ridiculous

Twice thru the same guy trying to offload his 5711/1P to me hence not brand new. I thought it was too heavy ie heavier than my DDII. Didn't even bothered to try on. P/S I like the 40th version more. You are one of the lucky gent.

Karl, how is the weight and the wrist feel? It will probably be a while before I meet up with my buddy who has one and I'm curious!

You definately notice it has weight when you pick it up....on the wrist don't even notice it to be honest....I need to try find some scales to weigh it

Ah cool. I thought that with the gold Nautilus. When I tried one on I had been wearing a gold GMT, compared to the GMT the Nautilus was light but compared to the SS definitely heavier although on the wrist I couldn't really tell all that much.

Let us know, pretty sure the old one weighed 270ish, was very heavy on me.

Neil, you mean the non "40th Anniversary" 5711/1P is a different watch to the current 40th 5711/1P?

I wasn't a fan of the Nautilus but this one has changed my mind. Would love to see one for real.

Many congrats, Karl

I agree with you to an extent and agree with your point. However the original 5711P was never a limited edition....they limited production. Just like the 5131 is not a LE......limited doesn't mean scarce it means limited to a certain quantity...so the 175 anniversary had some at 1300 and some at 400 and some limited to 10....whether they limit to 5000 that's still limited....however the 40th should drive the original 5711P higher based on the originals scarcity...just my 2c. Cheers

And he is the definitive weight issue weighed on the Jewellers scale at the gold counters at Dubai International Airport. The first reading is with 2 links missing. The final reading is with the two links added I.e full set
