that time I got an infraction for calling this fool out as the biggest BS artist on the forum......only to find out he was in fact the biggest Bs artist on the forum.

I apologize, I will not take a picture. He was kind enough to share this information with me and I would find it very rude and disrespectful to ask him if I can see it again so that I can take a picture of something he wasnt really supposed to show me in the first place.

I think it is completely fair to ask for evidence of my words, however when I gave my reasoning for not wanting to take a picture I also find it completely unfair to not accept my reasoning and for some to ridicule me and to speak poorly of me.

I mean nothing but good intentions! My AD is really swell guy and I know what he showed me was authentic because he would have had to go through a lot of trouble to produce these materials.

He had a large binder that was green with "Rolex" embossed at the top.. it must have been old though because the bottom was cracking and he opened it rapidly without care that it was cracking so I assume this is a binder that can easily be replaced. Anyway, he opened it up and it on one of the last pages it showed a formal letter with the discontinuation of Seadweller.

Then, he had a glossy (almost like a magazine but instead it was on hard stock) insert that had a picture of the GMT II coke bezel and it had these "graph like" marks overtop of the bezel listing dimensions and then on the left side of the insert had a small blurb on the history of it. The word "Rolex" was not embossed on it, however the Rolex crown at the top of it was. It had the same exact publication on the back of it as it was two sided. When I walk into my AD he has a Sign next to the Rolex case and there is usually something inside the sign holder (the sign holder is an official Rolex piece of marketing. I don't know this factually but it's a piece of the Rolex backdrop and i can't imagine Rolex would allow a fake sign for their marketing especially since it's built into the backdrop)

So, again I say that he would have had to of gone through significant trouble just to show me all of this. On top of that, this is a person that I know well. What would he tell me if this turned out to be not true? He would be incredibly embarrassed and I cannot see any of this turning out to be anything more than the truth because it's just that, the truth!

But he said he saw the sheet showing both... obviously, if there was a sheet, it was fake

Full of $%*! Tom sounds more appropriate.

Somehow, this forums looooves and tolerates these kind of people and threads...when someone asks someone to substantiate a claim, they get ostracized by the members who love all the silly speculations.

Like the Gloss sea dweller thread...remember the members who wanted proof and the others who all said "Nah....if he said so, it MUST be true!"??

I think his premature "victory lap" was very ill advised but still believe he spoke with an element of genuine credibility. Who knows what he saw or how his AD can explain the discrepancy but I'd be interested in our cutting him some slack and seeing what he comes back with......... if he truly saw what he says he saw I'm sure he'll pay his AD friend a visit and follow up. I'd like to hear what transpires.

No hard feelings Tom just another thread with an inaccurate prediction dressed up as 100 percent confirmed info and claims like showing me marketing material with a coke bezel.

But I can think of worse crimes.

We should move on and give Tom a break.

Others have been wrong with their information I think Tom was given believable information from a source he trusted.

There's a gene for that?

But isn't this new thread in the wrong Sub-forum? I'd say from the posts above that it should be moved to WatchOut!!!
