How many wives will be being treated to this at that price. I would suggest only the ones who already have that much money they don't know what to do with it !!!!!

Everything that comes out at Basel is not going to appeal to everybody, for sure. But, there is a market for that sort of thing...you can be sure Rolex does their homework.

I can see women loving this timepiece as it can match well with their rings and bracelets but why is this watch on rubber?

If we could afford it, I'm sure my wife would nag me on a daily about picking one up for her.

I would happily oblige. I think that YM is phenomenal looking and I would love to see it on the wrist of my petite wife.

For roughly the price of the Bezel alone I could buy her a 37mm one without the gems and myself a new WG Daytona on Oysterflex!! That definitely seems like a more sensible way forward!

When Basel comes around everyone forgets Rolex are in the business of making money, not pleasing a few hundred WIS, and this will have its market.

Rolex is well known for covering their watches in stones. More so than hublot. People here live in the wis bubble

I actually think it's pretty cool. For me? No but for the right person it's a unique fun watch.

Frankly, I think that watch is as bad as the DJ 41 and the 43mm SD. Rolex always made an honest, robust, sensible watch, and now they seem desperate to reach customers no matter what.

For the same reason, they made an offroad Merc G-wagon maybach edition with a cheesy blue green color. --- for someone's billionaire's wife or mistress.

Maybe this is the honest answer. For the person who has everything! No offense to all you folks that love it! My wife is a black stick dial smooth bezel oyster bracelet DJ kind of girl and agreed with me this was... different. Different strokes, right?
