Very agree. It is very segment oriented. Otherwise it's hard to imagine who would have designed this kind of thing.

I'm thinking tutti fruiti here.
Which came first in the baguette stakes?
FYI no bubble here - I appreciate the Hublot aesthetic and have collected them.
As others have said, it is targeted at a particular market and in that respect I'd say Hublot have a larger share of 'that market' than Rolex...

FYI - this bejeweled YM is also available with a dial covered with 423 pave diamonds, which is the obvious choice for anyone looking to buy this piece!

see page 11 of the link below for proof:

it's for people that actually own a Yacht, and not just someone who buys the watch.

If money were no object, I'd rock the Vanna White in no time.

I like it. It's colourful for those that want to pull it off. It doesn't come across as gaudy to me, which makes it a winner.

I might get one for my wife, she would love it. There is no accounting for taste.

I'd appreciate it if the folks that insist that Rolex doesn't follow fashion or trends to remember this watch, as they have convienently forgotten it's bejeweled/leopard printed/blinked predecessors.
