First Time Buyer
Hello,
I am new to both purchasing luxury watches and the forum. Im proud to say that I recently have graduated college and just passed the CPA exam! I am looking to reward myself with something I have always wanted.....a Rolex! I am looking at a few models currently but I have no idea what to buy. 1. An explorer 1 36mm, 2. A 36mm 116000 with a black concentric dial, 3. no date sub. I really just need opinions. Thanks everyone! |

Congrats on passing the CPA. That will be my next project right after busy season. Based on what you mentioned I would chose the no date sub.

Congrats on passing! I would suggest going to an AD and trying them on before making the purchase. But from the ones you mentioned I would go with the Sub. 36mm is too small for my taste. Good luck!

Congrats on your achievements. Why 36mm? It's a smaller size by today's standards.

I would definitely go to an AD and try on some different models and buy the one that sings to you. Out of the options you listed I would definitely go for the Sub, it's a classic and glide lock is amazing. I love 36 mm pieces too and would check out a date just as well.
Welcome to the forums! Good luck and let us know what you end up choosing |
