Giving my first Rolex to dad.

I’ve always wanted to give my dad a Rolex. When I got my Pepsi in the summer, I thought that I wanted to give him my first watch which is Submariner as a gift. When I told him, he was so excited! I love my Rolexes equally and I hope he will love it as much as I do! Hopefully he can take care of it for me. :)

I did this with my dad. He wore the watch (Omega Seamaster) I gave him for 13 years. He passed away earlier this year and the watch found its way back. It holds a very special place. It won’t leave the family in my lifetime.

Nicely done!

Reminds me of an old teaching:

He who honors his father atones for many errors...He who reveres his father will live a long life...in word and deed honor your father that his blessing may come upon you.

This is a thing I've done decades ago.

I gave my 5513 to my dad.

He was so happy ...

Usually it’s the other way around. We buy a luxury item especially a watch like a Rolex so it can be passed to our sons and or daughters. What you did is just amazing. Your dad is certainly so proud of you. Good son, god bless.

Congratulation, what you did is so special!
I did it whit my dad too! Owned a IWC Acquatimer Chrono Costeau Diver Tribute to Calipso, and he always loved when i wear it, so i gifted the watch to him and it’s always wear it! That moment was always a great memory that i will keep whit me always.
