Great info in this thread. I’ve been looking at pre-owned white dial Royal Oak 15400s, and was wondering what it means when the crown screws are not aligned properly:

Is that an indication that it was serviced by a non-APSC? The seller seems legit, so I’m not sure it’s fair to question the authenticity of the RO.

I would doubt AP would service a RO and miss aligning the bezel bolts...probably means some third party did a basic tuneup to flip.

So my takeaway from this thread is that APs are finicky and expensive to maintain. But beautiful. I find it hard to believe that modern sports watches like AP or PP are that delicate.
