Thoughts on 15707CE Cermaic Diver

Hey!
I've been looking at buying a black and orange ceramic diver (15707CE). What are your thoughts on this watch? Also what should I be paying for one?

Versatile watch that makes an excellent daily wearer. Brushed ceramic pops when the light hits just right, and the titanium hardware coupled with the light ceramic makes for a comfortable wear doing pretty much anything.

Need to order the orange strap to mix it up for the summer.

Great watch, a known member here has one for sale if you get serious. Yoast, good guy and he just picked it up, just a bit too big for him.

Stunning watch. Would look awesome on an orange strap. Have considered in the past but am resisting for now.

I note the comment about there being a small mark on the bezel (which is visible). Slightly confused as I was under the (obviously mistaken) impression that you couldn’t mark/scratch ceramic?

It's a great watch to wear -- with very, very limited production; with the durability of ceramic, it will continue on as a classic for many years to come. Just need to be comfortable with the fit.

Finish is great, as would be expected. Be aware that there were a couple examples made in the earlier serials that had the "rainfall" ceramic bezels (seen on the carbon diver) rather than the vertically brushed bezels that are what we're accustomed to these days.

at the price Yoast is selling at, unquestionable value, compared to what other ceramic APs are going for.

Super piece, and as said get the later versions with the crisp vertical brushed bezel.

Often times that's just material transfer. A heavy rubber eraser will likely take care of it. I forget who on here turned me onto that but you can find it here somewhere.

It's a very special piece. Feels unique, with the low production numbers and AP's apparent decision to only use ceramic for more complicated watches these days.

I'm a sports watch guy at heart, and the ce diver brings a lot of variety to a collection. The finishing AP does on ceramic is unreal too. I guess you can tell I like it.

As for price, like said above, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal than the one offered by Yoast. Dealers are certainly asking more than that.

Good luck in the hunt.

It really is very cool - if you like the diver model, CE is probably top of the tree for most

Are these still produced new or are they no longer available new? I ask because I do not see it on the AP website.

Last produced around 5-6 years ago. You will need to source on secondary market. They will pop up from time to time. Don't think they made all that many of them. Great piece and worth the effort to track down.

No, out of production. There was also a white ceramic diver - also no longer produced.

One of my favorites. Gets a lot of wrist time. Always looks perfect.
