GMT-Master 116710 BLNR, Norwich, England

http://www.juelslimited.co.uk/pages/...mt-master.html

Green text on a BLNR?

Look at the alignment of the ROLEX text on the rehaut at 11.

Say nothing of the swing-tag...

Hand stack wrong too. How does a 'legit' business get away with this?

from the description...

Known as the bruiser (Black and Blue).... LOL

It has a steel oyster bracelet and black dial with bi coloured bezel. It has an automatic Swiss Rolex movement water resistant to 300meters.

The watch is prepared in like new condition original receipt dated Novemeber 2015, box and Rolex certification card with original Rolex 5 year warranty. ... the red hang tag disagrees

Also they know full well its fake. What reputable watch shop sells a BLNR for £4k less than an older one for sale by watchfinder ?

the irony is its easier to report a fake on eBay than going to a proper dealers trade association to report it... national association of goldsmiths, jewelers association etc.

It's the National Association of Jewellers now --- and one can raise these things if one tries.

I have just spoken with a gentleman at the shop, asking specifically about the black and blue bezel GMT-Master on their website.

He said that he has sold it --- and could have sold it ten times over.

I expressed my regret, as the one on the website was clearly a fake.

The gentleman responded that the one they sold was "direct from Rolex and had its box, papers and everything."

I asked him what, then, the advertisement of the fake watch was for.

He responded that he had photographed the fake one for the website before they got the other one in, that they had sold.

I asked why the fake was still on his website for £6,250.

He responded that he would remove it.

I pointed out the swing-tag, which specifically belongs to a unique steel Oyster Perpetual 26mm yet appeared in so many images, and he confirmed that they had used the same swing-tag and box to photograph with a number of watches.

I did not ask, but wonder at what point they disclose the nature of those significant diamond parts that are not by Rolex, fitted to others of their advertised Rolex watches. I can't see anything on the website to identify non-Rolex diamond bezels, lugs or dials.

If you click on the links, you should find yourself on the website of a jewellery in Norwich.

What kind of reputable dealer would do such a thing?

Did he actually think that no one would notice?

I feel like the place needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau, or the UK equivalent. Their practices are not business worthy.

Love how the 'classic Patek movement' wasn't photographed. It would have been lovely.

Even if they had it wouldn't be from the watch they're selling based on their MO.

still up. And my point remains... everyone is sketched out by eBay but to their credit no way a listing like this stays up this long.

Anyone who says B&M is safer because they have a physical location and are a registered business, this shows otherwise.

Not to mention its illegal:
Bait & Switch" - promoting a product for sale and then refusing to sell it, take orders for it, or showing only a defective version of the product and then subsequently offering another product - frequently at a higher price.

Selling fake goods in a way that is intended to confuse consumers. For example, fake perfumes meant to look like the original. Or selling a product that does work, but which copies much from another existing product, to confuse consumers. For example using similar packaging, design and colours to an existing product.

I went into this shop just this very week, to look at two of three Omega Seamasters they have in the window. I am unfamiliar enough with these that I could not tell, looking back, whether any was fake or not. I think they had a Rolex in the window too, but can’t be sure.

I will be on the lookout next time I am in Norwich. Bad enough trying to sell fakes online, but if there are any in the windows I will be seeking out a local Bobby.

If somebody is in or near Norwich then they could contact Norfolk Trading Standards Dept.

There is a phone number to report this kind of shenanigans, unfortunately I can't dial it from here.

"You can contact Norfolk Trading Standards for business advice and information, including food standards, animal welfare and product safety. ... Call us on 0344 800 8020 or email us at trading.standards@norfolk.gov.uk.

I'm so glad that those who are local will be following up on this. There are many of us who would like to "get a good deal", but ... first and foremost, wish to trust the authenticity of what we purchase!!
Thank you SO much for dealing with this - - including letting law enforcement know that this is nothing less than thievery!
