AD Visit
Went to one of my local AD's a couple of days ago to see If I could get the latest Rolex Catalog. I did pick one up, and noticed the ommission of a pic. or mention of the [Reg.] Yachtmaster. What is up with that? On another note, they are authorized PP dealers, so tried on a "Aquanaut" while there, and was quite surprised as to how light it felt on the wrist compared to my DJ II. Infact, this is a bit of an exaggeration I know, but It was reminiscent of a Japanese tin toy from the fifties. Was not Impressed, considering the $19,000 price tag. Walked out more satisfied with my Rolex than ever. I wonder if the "Nautilus" is as unsubstantial as the [Aquanaut]. Have never seen one.

I would guess that they are phasing out the yachtmaster 1 for the yachtmaster 2 as they have discontinued many of the YM I models now.

Quality does not equal weight but with that said I prefer the Rolexes over the PPs. But of course I have never owned one and hopefully Rolex has not discontinued the Yachtmaster I.....
