AP 15202 now In Play

Watchfinder have a 2014 for near £23K, that's near £5K over retail. This is getting primed to follow the Nautilus, so get stuck in if it's on your radar.

Did the AP Lounge require a deposit? That's a new development.

I'm quite happy with my 15400. I do love the 15407, but it's not worth the price.

I thought I was overpaying in July last year when I paid the full pop of HK$178,000 (US$22,700) from the boutique. This price rise doesn't matter to me as mine's going nowhere. Personally, I wouldn't trade it in to acquire a 5711 or 5712.

If I had bought mine new from AD I might have kept it. I tend to flip a lot but always flip watches bought secondhand, even if they are new.

Considering how closely aligned the 5711 and this are this has been a very slow starter but looks like it's being pushed along now as WF are big market makers, and they hardly ever have these in.

You did good business so don't worry about it. What's next with the cash?

Honestly Neil stuff comes and goes so quickly lately I’m embarrassed to post incomings

Latest are my Grand Seiko and a white 116500. I haven’t really been drawn to anything new but a trip to bal harbor this week might get the ideas flowing

Same. I'm no longer doing incomings for that reason. Latest acquisition from yesterday was also a 116500 white.

You would hope so... We both seem to buy the same pieces, right around the same time, and we live within a 2 hour drive of each other!

I traded mine for the 12 and don't regret it one bit.

I guess I would say that if I were to get the 5712, it would be an add and not a trade. I'm still being told I should get mine by year end (fingers crossed!)

Yep! in Japan the boutique took deposits last year for the 15202 although they have now stopped this as of this year. However for other models the boutique in japan take deposits.

I am expecting one for October, never purchased an AP before, they asked for a 30% deposit. It is their way to see how serious buyers really are.
With just the deposit, one can buy a SS Sport Rolly.

They asked for a deposit in the UK? Or are you buying elsewhere?

Just fwiw. UK retail is £19200. Wf have the rrp wrong, as they did for the 5711 for ages too...

£19200 That's what I paid in the lounge last year after I lost my "reserved AD" piece

They went up once more to the "boutique" price after the previous two corrections
