Living with the 116610LV

Had this one maybe a year. Never really wore it more than a day or two at a time. Had it on for close to two weeks straight now, and don’t want to take it off. Wore it through most business and casual situations no problem. I didn’t care if it clashed with my attire on a given day. Never received any comments but did get a few looks.

Had mine for a short period before I “unloaded” it.

Went for the polar 216570. . . I wonder if I wouldn’t have sold it, I would be in a similar situation.
Guessing it just wasn’t the right time to own . . Cuz I’m starting to want another.

That’s a gorgeous watch. Pictures do not do justice for this piece. Keep wearing it in good health.

I wear mine everywhere too...people crack me up how they act like it’s too flashy....99% of people could care less what’s on your wrist....the other 1% love seeing it because it is fairly uncommon to see in the wild. Enjoy it my friend.

The Sub LV is a beautiful watch! It really stands out and is so unique. Anybody who knows watches, knows exactly what it is upon first glance. The green sunburst dial is absolutely stunning when it hits the light just right!

Haha too funny , aren’t you the nick that recently got the gold sub ?!

So the gold sub has now become the “ rarely worn” watch to preserve :)

And the LV? , meh, daily beater !

Love it. Haven't worn mine for a few months, but when I do, I'll wear it for a couple months and it's pretty much perfect. It goes with anything and the "flashiness" is completely overstated.

I have had one now for a few months and love it in my rotation. I wear it at least once per week and totally agree that it’s “flashiness” is overblown. It adds a nice splash of color and variety without ever being over the top. I love my other watches as well, but the LV just jazzes up the rotation since my other watches are “standard” black, silver and blue faced.

I could easily wear it as my one and only. I used to switch out watches every few days but now I wear them weeks at a time before I change.

I think you can wear any Rolex reference with just about anything nowadays.

Why did it take you a year to start wearing it more often?

Great looking watch. The more I wear a watch the more I want to wear it.
