SkyDweller on leather, choc or black ?

Very interested in a Skydweller on leather. Tried them both , but so hard to decide!

Everose is very warm, combines beautiful with dark brown tobacco strap and the chocolate dial is magical. Does need a lot of light to show it's real beauty though!, reason I took this picture outside. The dial tends to be quit dark in average light conditions.
Very subtle colour difference between dial and GMT-ring, maybe too subtle ?
Like the new rhodium dial for his model as well however these are a lot more expensive then a descent preloved example with the choc-dial.
And prefer arabic dials over sticks without any contrasting GMT-ring to be very honest. With the sticks it's just a datejust suffering from elephantitus

Then we have the whitegold with black dial. Whitegold tends to look warmer then steel but totally different from "Foreverose" obviously! Dial is pretty cool and looks great inside as well. HUGE contrast between dial and GMT-ring. Maybe a bit too much contrast.... The black part is just black, no sunburst effect , actually some kind of balance between black and slate, very subtle again.
This reference seems to be discontinued, not the reason to choose it but we all know the interesting side effects of discontinued models (sometimes….)

You don't see to many of both references out here. Preloved a LOT of Rolex for just a few K more then it's steel family members.
These are the only dials I really like, the Roman versions not so much.

Any owners out here that faced same choice ?

Get the Choco 100%.

Its Rose + its sunburst dial.

PM on strap seems to be a good bang for buck pre-owned as compared to SS. I think the black looks best and more versatile.

I have my sights set on a Sky Dweller, and have considered a PM on strap, but can’t get past the cut off numbers. I haven’t seen a stick dial PM yet.

Well, those are my two favorites as well. Two magnificent beauties...I have no idea how'd you pick one over the other.

I guess it would come down to whether you wanted a little color with the ever rose or the more stark appearance of the white gold. Good luck,

I tried both on and loved the WG. But that’s just me. Both are superb IMO. I think I like the sky d on strap more than bracelet.

Well, I was in a similar situation ~5 years ago and after a lot of deliberation, chose neither ...

In my subjective opinion, I think Romans work very well for this complication. It is primarily a calendar watch, which is a classical "non-sports" complication and classical roman numerals fit very well with that genre. Also, in general, romans are considered to be a good aesthetic match with fluted bezel (even in the context of datejusts).

If I have to pick one from your choices, I'll go with the wg black dial one.

Everrose and chocolate strap! 90% sure one of my clients was wearing one when I visited them a few weeks back.

Thank you! Those cut off numbers drive me insane. Just looks like they forgot until the end.

Really like the stick dials. Was looking for a PM with a strap and stick dial.

Thanks for all the comments guys!
To make it even harder , did see the new rhodium dial IRL again today, MAN, that thing works well with the Everose!!
If they would have made that with Arabics in Daytona Panda/Slate font....WOW

One of my initial objections as well with these dials, however we watchgeeks have some kind of natural instinct to focus on the upper part of the dial when glancing at our watch. It did not bother me at all when I had them on my wrist, a non issue, really!

Chocolate, given the choice between the two.
