I really like blue dial watches of any make. This one and Sub are pretty high on favorite list...

Beautiful! I never thought the proportions looked quite right on the original Yacht-Master, but the revised model is a stunner.

Major boo!!!!!! Just rang Grima's, the blue Yachtie was sold on Fri!!!

They had placed an order for several, Rolex only supplied them with 1 this month, they said next month, when the next shipment gets delivered, they *might* get another one depending on how gracious Rolex is. Damm!!!

I asked the price, the Australian RRP is $12,270 inclusive of tax, or $11,155 exclusive or USD$11,549. I didn't bother about asking for a discount as I wouldn't make a decision until I had a chance to see it for myself. And being such a new release, I suspect there would be no discount as it'd easily sell at it's full price.

How does this compare with the US RRP??? I think Australian prices are getting more in line with US prices now, we have not been subject to the last 2 prices increases that have affected the US.

Oh no, that's a shame - hopefully they will get more soon. I'm not sure what the US prices is, but I agree that the Aus-US price difference is a bit closer now. And if you can score a small discount (got to be worth trying - especially as a local customer who might bring repeat business) and even tax off for a o/seas trip, then so much the better

Perhaps it's worth checking The Hour Glass and LK Boutique as well?

Hour Glass don't have it yet, they said they get shipments every 2 weeks from Rolex, they are expecting it this month though ... they did say they'll ring me as soon as one comes in! I'm waiting for the TRF seller's to post in the FS to see what their prices are ....

Even if one came up now, I'm unlikely to buy till near Xmas when my watch fund recovers a little bit ... then again, I am known for impulsive purchases lol

I also wanted to checkout a WG Sub blue dial against a TT Sub blue dial to see if the blues are the same. A WG blue Sub is also on my wishlist, but only if the blue is that beautiful cobalt blue on the TT ...

I'll let you know if I spot one in LK Boutique - I go past there quite often

The WG Sub is a beaut. Not sure if the blue is identical to the TT - perhaps someone here has/had both and can help?

YM blue dial and WG Sub would look amazing together

Congrats!

Stunning! I was just at my local AD over the weekend and asked them about this watch. They said they would be getting a delivery this week. Left him my number.

My AD is supposedly getting one in this week also and I have put down my deposit. Initial demand appears to be quite high for this YM.

I spoke to Grima today and they are not expecting to have another blue dial YM until Feb 2013...

Apparently this watch has generated a lot of interest and they have had many enquiries. Oh well, more time to save up I suppose...
