seamaster calender

one of the first date watches from omega .. the 353 seamaster calender from the early 1950's.. sourced this one from flea bay.. got it back from my watchmaker today.. really like the feel of the bumper mechanism

yes i think these ones are 35-36 .. the connies are slightly smaller in size.. but my wrist size is relatively small at 6 3/4 inches so looks good. I also like the date at 6 pm .. the second generation semaster calenders had their dates at 3 pm.. much prefer this initial style

The date is what attracts me to that watch, that is awesome!

Nice vintage, excellent date window, but I'd still prefer that date at '3'.

That 6 pm date is pretty unique... I'll have to see if I can find one on the Bay!
