I found a Rolex!!! Need some advice please
Hey everyone..
today I was cleaning out the garage with a bag of donation items left from previous renters of the property I am living in (family friends) who left all this for me to take to the donation bins. I thought I would just go through and see if anything was of use to me and I found a “Rolex” now I have NO idea of a fake or real watch but it is beautiful, of good weight and looks pretty legit to me. But again I don’t know. Any input would be great!! I’ve looked up how to tell the difference but can’t seem to get the lugs off to look under the bracelet for a serial number. Any thoughts? Thank you! Shari |

You're asking to see if a Rolex is legit without any pictures? How do you expect people to give you any input?

There’s more Rolex collecting dust in attics and garages than stocked in AD’s.
Apparently.

It’s bit dirty, it was stashed in the bottom of a cup full of old pens to be thrown out.
I have wiped it down and it comes up beautiful. And the face isn’t flat white it’s the beautiful marble oyster look - lol I don’t know how to explain it! |

Looks fake to me. I could point out a whole list of things that look incorrect but I wont.

It looks reasonable to me. It's always easy to say somethings a fake. I've seen it so many times when the watch is absolutely genuine. Best bet is to remove the bracelet and look at the case ends for model and serial number. It they're there than it adds likelihood to the watches validity. Some extra shots at different angles both front and back would help as well. Good luck with the quest for validity!!! If you need help removing the bracelet bring it to a jeweler.

If it's real (and I'm not saying it is) then it should be a white mother of pearl dial Lady Datejust 26. Take it to a local Rolex dealer and have them look at it and retrieve the reference and serial numbers from it.
Welcome to TRF! Please keep us posted on your findings. |

It has a tiny crown on the glass on the 6. Does this make any difference?
Thanks everyone for looking, please don’t think I’m disappointed in a fake.. it was still a cool find for me. |

take it to the RSC for authentication if you still have doubts it's not a fake. it's the only way to be sure. |

My money is on fake.
It look good though from a distant, so it pulls it off. Go to an AD and have it checked out. I would like to know now. |
