14060m

Hi,

" I wanted the certification, but mostly, it was because I wanted the engraved chapter (rehaut) ring."

I"ve worn the watch now for several weeks. I took it on a trip to Hawaii and it performed excellently. Keeps time at about -4 per day in a mix of wearing and setting down in different positions in the safe. It is my most comfortable bracelet watch. Bracelet does make a little more noise than my Omega Seamaster and Speedmaster Pros but more comfortable than both of those. Crown stabs the hand much less than the Seamaster 41mm and the balance is better on my 7.3 wrist than the Speedy.

I have not regretted picking this over the date. Guy in my office wants one now - he is tired of the cyclops on his 16610 and tired of setting it.

I did what many probably would not have done, but I did swim with it! yes, I dove with it! No problems. Enjoyed it.

The attention from the Rolex stigma can be a pain but overall it's my business.

Crown behavior is the best of all my watches, present and past.

What next? I'm looking at Datejusts...

The rollie boxes are nice.
Its a great watch and has the classic look of the vintage Sub.
I bought a 14060 myself a month ago.

Congrats on a great purchase. You can´t go wrong with this Sub!
I own a COSC version, but still prefer the non-COSC as I like better the uncluttered dial and more classic look of the dial without all this additiona inscriptions.
Enjoy you new watch in good health!!
Very cordially, Abel

First let me say that you've got my grail watch. I've wanted a COSC ND Sub for the longest time, mostly because of, as you say, the clean look and the light, comfortable way it wears.

Now....can you tell me what the Rolex "stigma" is, and why it's a pain? Never heard that before.

Oops - just realized I'm responding to an old posting. Oh, well... question still stands.

I ended up getting both. Exp II White, and 14060M.

The Exp II and Omega PO gets most of the love. It's more comfortable and I like the date.
