Bought a Rolex Daytona 16520

I managed to score this watch for a very reasonable price from a friend who needed funds for a Patek Nautilus purchase.

This "U" series Daytona with black dial is in very good condition that was used occasionally.

Bought one of this new before in the 90s for i think $3k only through a friend who knows the Far East Director of Rolex based in Hong Kong. I gave it to my son after he graduated from college ten years ago.

If you have to ask how much a PP costs, you can't afford it.

Just messing, nice score!

Awesome well done. I recently acquired an A series also black dial. I Probably overpaid however it's a keeper.

Nice pick up. Goes great with an air cooled 911... I’ve got a white 16520 and 993 c4s.

It also would look great with my MC Stradale.
