Thanks, I have been reading up on it and trying to find more information. Anyone know why they did this crown ? Also the R in the rolex on the dial is differnt than other 5512s .

Great watch and I'm obviously missing something here , but without trawling the web . Can anyone explain ,or even better for me show some pictures of a tulip crown please .

The crown on the dial is different than the standard dials. Also the R is different on the dial. It is a rare dial made in 1961.

Anyone know how many of these were made? Would like to get a good valuation too. Not too many for sale and prices seem all over.
