Rolex 5508 Submariner
Rolex 5508 Submariner in need of an insert and new crystal...1958 dated case back...The serial number is now only partially visible due to years of abrasion from its bracelet...Case contours are strong and the dial is very fine although the current crystal obscures and distorts the view.
I had posted this watch and tried to take better photos...If I can obtain an original insert (or correct service insert) I'll send it off for service and light polish. Ed

It's only unpolished once. Never ever do that to that or any watch imho. And it hits the value as well. The bezel insert is expensive but do pop up, but you might find a 5512/13 insert that has been worked down to fit for less $. I did for mine last WWT show.

Can't wait to see it with the crystal polished and with a bezel.

Rolex 5508 Submariner: I am still seeking an original bezel insert or correct service insert.
