A few new shots of planet ocean cal. 9300
Dear friends,
I finally had some free time this weekend to sit down and plan on something I had thinking of for days ... I.E. Take a few leisurely shots of the PO9300 and to try and dress it up for the fall ... Summer is gone and gone are the sweaty days .. Anyways, here are a few shots after taking off the bracelet .. finally got enough exposure to inspect and appreciate the gorgeous CAL. 9300 as visible through the sapphire case back ... A Thing of Pure JOY ! While the back sure is SEXY, the front aint too shabby IMO And now some BLACK & WHITE pleasures .. This watch has quickly become my absolute favorite to photograph .. Finally, I decided to mount a CROC Strap on the 9300 .. was apprehensive at first but the moment I strapped it on, all doubts were quickly dispelled! I simply love it ... custom made by Brian @ BJSTRAPS ... Honestly, his straps continue to exceed my expectations ... V well Done ! You can tell .. I am a fan ... Finally, some wristshots ... I can honestly say that I am enjoying the PO9300 more on the strap than on bracelet .. takes a bit of chunkiness off and makes the watch appear more balanced on my otherwise average sized wrist .. & in B&W .. Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures .. If any of you in doubt about picking this timepiece .. I say .. GO FOR IT !!! Cheers, N |

I really like it on a leather strap.....seems to soften it's looks, but in a good way!!
A black or a dark grey with orange stitching would be awesome as well I think.... Enjoy!

If you'd told you me you were going to put it on a brown leather strap, I probably wouldn't have been too enthusiastic! But it looks great on it, as Rob says, it softens it in a good way. You're clearly in love with this watch, and I completely understand why

it is a beauty for sure - I prefer it on the bracelet, or rubber or a NATO maybe, but whatever floats yer boat!

Amazing fit and finish...
Nice pictures. I wish I had your wrist ;)
I tried this in the store, and I couldn't pull it off due to my narrow wrist. I am trying to save some money for the smaller Speedmaster with same dials. But PO is one of the Omega's best, enjoy ... |

Nice pictures of an awesome diver!
NICE PICTURES!
Congratulations to you early adapters of this sub...I hope to join you with a blue titanium chrono one of these days!! The Planet 45 sub is quickly becoming my favorite of all subs; especially given the easiest, most readable chronograph probably ever manufactured(short of digital) and yes, nicer than Pateks and IWC's all in one chronographs as far as Im concerned! |

It is a gorgeous watch for sure, and from what I understand a bit of a technical marvel too (the movement, features etc), but when I see the wrist shots of it I feel like is hulkingly large on the wrist. It just seems so chunky. I wish they could have stuffed all the features and watch tech into something less bulky. Does the WIS community not see it that way? I am not saying all watches have to be "refined" thin like a Calatrava, but the bulk on these new movements - even when they are put in the speedmaster pro for example, it just seems like it makes these elegant watches massive and too bulky. What am I missing? Are "large watches" so in now that no one cares?

Tortuga. Large watches are not "in" but rather a luxury for us larger folks that desire a greater presence on the wrist.

Hmmm, it shouldn't look good on a brown leather strap - but it does.
Nice pix.
