May I suggest a new thread when it arrives? “Mom’s DJ Resurgens” might be a good thread to give others hope when they find water within their watch. Much luck on the project and look forward to your progress reports. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Would cost more to sort out than the watch is worth no wonder she threw it in the drawer why don’t you buy her a sub.

Update! Got the watch in today. I took some pictures of the movement. It looks surprisingly decent knowing there has been a pool of water inside for a year.
I am not sure if it is salvageable I will likely take it to a watch shop this weekend not RSC. I have a blow dryer on low heat currently drying out everything as best i can. The dial and hands look torched for sure, but I expected more visible damage to the movement. Maybe she left it face down in the drawer? uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190215/303c6a1ece0a27bd98ff2e6b2c4bc027.jpg[/IMG] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
