I think I like Steinhart Watches tell me more

I have never heard of Steinhart Watches until today. I saw a Steinhart military and I was very impressed. I hear they have a rich history and are a fine watch.

Can they be bought in the US? Would you recommend one to a friend?

'Steinhart' watches are now made by Grovana as are 'Robert'. They use an ETA movement. I have had a Grovana for a few years now and am very happy with it. Mine is slightly bigger and heavier than a Sub and has a really solid bracelet. It runs at +2 seconds/day after a bit of adjusting.
