Horofix generic 2100 tool
Hi all. Posted this in general, but probably belongs here. How do flip the blade tip on the generic 2100 tool? It came on the 1.7mm side and need to flip to the 1.3mm side.
Thinking I have to loosen the small flat head on driver, but I can't get it to turn. Using a sun glass screwdriver and can't get enough torque on it. Feels like I'm going to strip it. Appreciate any suggested solutions. |

There is a set screw on the side, above the blade.
This screw tightens onto the flat that is machined onto each end of the blade insert to keep it in place, and to keep it from rotating.

Thanks Larry. I see a screw on both ends. What's best to use to get a grip on those to turn? As mentioned I tried a small sunglasses driver but it's in there tight. Any trick to get it to loosen?

The set screw you are showing is on the barrel-grip they provide for better handling. It will slide up and down the tool for you to set for your use.
The blade set screws are on the actual body of the tool. That end may be under the barrel-grip on that side. They might be tight, but there is no loc-tite or anything. Maybe you need to buy another screwdriver for the screws on your screwdriver.

I removed that barrel grip first thing when I got mine.
Came off easily.

I got it to budge, but it took some torque. All set now and impressed with how well the tip fit the pin!
