Dear Patek, please make automatic Aquanauts without diamonds for the ladies. There's a lot of us who don't like diamonds on a watch. Thank you!

Hopefully they'll make more ladies' sports watches.

Technically we have it on the 5711 gemsets... be nice to have the same for the aquanaut. Be kind of like the patek equivalent of a Yacht master.

Sad to see the white dial go, it’s so legible, would make an ideal “tool” Patek watch. Of course that’s in a world where I have that budget for a tool watch.

Really?

I don't have any official documentation of this. Typically Patek puts out a publication to ADs stating the references whose production has ended.

Strange. Very strange.

I haven't seen any official releases from Patek about this. I also heard similar to what you said about the 5131/1P about the 5270P... "Can't be ordered." Yet it's not on the kill list that was published yesterday.

Anyone have any direct insights in terms of official confirmations from Patek and/or reps?

As a side note, it would make sense that the 5131/1P was killed since I would expect to see a 5231/1P or something in the future.

That said, what's the fundamental difference between the 5131 and the 5231? I must've missed it somewhere. Same movement... So what changed?

EDIT: Ah, just the case is different. Is that correct?

Ah, understood. I might simply be delirious with this head cold, because I didn't catch any of that. :(

I now also see the bezel is different.

Thanks for the reply. :D

Interesting to see the 5327j discontinued but seems the R and G are here to stay. Anyone think they’re downsizing on the number of yellow gold models produced? Can’t think why’d they’d get rid of one and keep the rest

Hopefully you can get one bud My AD confirmed yesterday my 5131P order has been accepted and will come in the following months. I was told maybe I can get it for a very long time so I dont know if the watch will be in production throughout 2020 or they made a few that are unallocated

I am surprised they removed the ladies classic 4897 especially the blue dial one unless they are coming up with a bible replacement.
