Any Aqua Terra + Rolex Datejust Owners?

I've been trying on many Omegas in recent weeks in an effort to find a "sportier" companion to my Rolex two tone DJ. After trying on many divers, I keep coming back to the Aqua Terra in a blue or green dial. My question is - is there too much overlap between an Omega AT 41 in a blue dial and a steel bracelet and a Rolex two tone Datejust? Bost are arguably "dressy" watches, but I would guess the AT would have a dramatically different feel. I honestly think I prefer the AT over the diver models...

I can’t answer your question, but I’ve been looking hard at one of those blue dial AT 41’s too. I originally wanted a date just but now all the flippers and greys are evening buying all of those up and selling them for 2k-5k over retail. It’s getting absurd and really turning me onto other stuff that I wouldn’t ordinarily look at which I’m happy about in this case because the AT is a great looking watch and I like the see through case back.

I own a blue fluted DJ 2 and a white second gen AT. Well, they are both sporty dress watches. I think they are somewhat different from each other.

Aqua Terra on rubber would differentiate the two nicely.

I agree there is overlap, but not too much. My wife once discussed characteristics of a few different watches with me, and I distinctly recall that she described the Aqua Terra as "definitely a sporty watch". I think what matters is that you feel the AT suits your purpose

Very nice watch, I agree with your wife.

I own both and opted for the rubber strap on the aqua terra to set it apart and give it a more sporty look. Can’t go wrong with having both in your collection in my opinion!

Beautiful. This may be the model I get.

There is really basic overlap (time and date function), but IMO both can co-exist happily in a collection, especially if casual non-rotating bezel watches are your thing. A TT DJ is the dressier one, the blue-dialed AT is the sportier one. A great pair. Best wishes

AT41 blue is almost certainly my next purchase. I also own steel DJ41 and think they can happily coexist in a collection. Will probably get one on leather strap and buy additional rubber one for vacation time and change things up a bit.

There is some overlap, especially with both of them being blue But the rubber on the AT and fluted/jubilee configuration on the DJ41 make them look and feel quite different.
